FLYING CONCRETE!

Check out Ranchito Cascabel aka "Timmyland".

This is some of the most amazing free form architecture on the planet!

Many more pictures of this increadible home and a New York Times article can be seen and read at http://www.latimes.com/features/home/la-hm-timmyland-photos,0,1918173.photogallery?index=la-hm-timmyland-photos-001

Also, go to www.flyingconcrete.com for more homes done in the same free form style and to find out how to do it by taking workshops down in Mexico.

All I can say is, "WOW"!

With regards getting this sort of effect without using something like concrete- say, cob- what are the opinions? I live in a more humid climate than the New Mexico areas that the flyingconcrete houses are built in and am just wondering regarding the constant dampness of concrete in wetter areas. Cob with a plaster skin? I know I won't get the arches on the roof, but at least *some* of the curves might be transferable.

Any opinions?
