Fire Escape—in the Twilight Zone

Here the Curmudgeon takes time off from building and writing rants to have a picnic with his wife and sister-in-law. Twilight turns to nightlight, as they share a beautiful evening under the world famous, star-lit, Arizona skies and roast some marshmallows.

It's precious moments like these, when staring into the campfire, that our bodies seem to fall away forgotten, our minds hypnotized by the dance of flame, where communication comes from some other level of our being, from somewhere deeper. These are moments set apart from time, in some other dimension. Here we enter a world I've come to know as...the twilight zone—which is for me, the best place of all.

I love the picture... and really miss marshmallow roasting and conversation. We need to find a way to do that at the beach in CA!!
