Shacking Up will be about Freedom. The freedom we have to gain by giving up our huge thirst for living in the largest most luxurious homes we can't afford.
Living in small spaces of minimal cost can reduce our housing expenses to next to nothing.What would you do with all the money you would have each month by eliminating your house payment, having super low insurance, taxes, and utilities? Go a step further and kill the car payments and credit cards.
Add it all up. Think about how that would feel for a minute. Think about all the things you could DO, not the things you could BUY.
Travel? Camping? Hiking? A trip around the world? Time to read a book?
We are all waiting for that time to come someday but few of us ever get there.
